Perimeter 81 is latest Israeli company to achieve unicorn status
“It feels like just yesterday we were working out of a basement with a dream” say company’s co-founders

Perimeter 81, an Israeli network security company founded in 2018, is the latest to join the exclusive unicorn club following the completion of a $100 million Series C funding round led by B Capital, which placed the company at $1 billion valuation.
According to a letter published on the company website by co-founders Amir Bareket and Sagi Gidali, the funding will support the company’s growth and accelerate hiring and development, furthering its disruption of the network security market.
“It feels like just yesterday we were working out of a basement, in the center of Tel Aviv, with a dream of building a company to make network security more user-friendly, more accessible, and ultimately more secure,” wrote the co-founders.
Perimeter 81’s product is an intuitive platform that streamlines network security management in order to enable businesses to secure remote access, network traffic and endpoint devices.
The company now boasts more than 250 employees and nearly 2400 customers.
