Phone of Mossad chief’s wife allegedly hacked

Materials published two days after Israeli government websites were briefly downed by an apparent cyber attack

Hackers allegedly broke into the phone which belongs to the wife of the Head of Mossad, David (Dadi) Barnea, and obtained personal information including photos, tax documents, ID cards, airline tickets, videos and more.
The documents were published on a new Telegram channel called “open hands” on Wednesday, two days after Israeli government websites were briefly downed by a separate cyber attack, which some experts attribute to Iran.
On behalf of the Mossad, the Prime Minister’s Office briefly stated that “the materials in question are old”.
In response to this statement, the group posted “wait for the next episode to find out whether we are updated or not!” before leaking an alleged new tax form from 2020 belonging to Barnea.
