Israel’s mission to the UN hosts cybersecurity event

Titled “Stronger Together,” the event will focus on the need for states to reassess their actions against online threats

The Permanent Mission of Israel to the UN, in cooperation with Israel’s National Cyber Directorate (INCD), will host an interactive event at the UN headquarters in New York later today (Tuesday).
Titled “Stronger Together,” the event will focus on the need for states to reassess their actions against the online operations of terrorist organizations, as well as that of criminal groups and private hackers. Participants will discuss ways to strengthen digital security and leverage digital transformation, in accordance with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
The event, which will elaborate on Israel as a case study, will be held with the participation of Team8 – and Israel-based venture that aspires to create a community of hundreds of executives, academics and entrepreneurs, who can identify and solve complex challenges relevant to contemporary digital security.
Nadav Zafrir, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Team8, will lead the central panel, titled “Promoting Private &Public Sectors’ Partnership to Accelerate Worldwide National Cyber Resilience.” Aviram Atzaba, Executive Director of Strategy & Int’l Cooperation at the INCD, will also deliver a presentation.
